As you surf the web small pictures (thumbnails) of related websites will dynamically appear on the sidebar.
The thumbnails will show related websites dealing with the same content as the site you are viewing.

The list mode is similar to the thumbnail mode except it doesn't show you the thumbnails and thus free up screen space to show more results in the same area.

For those who value the screen space, the sidebar goes into minimal mode, the auto-hide feature allows better viewing of the results while hovering the mouse over the icons.
Check out the Toolbar Button Mode!
The toolbar button helps you in two ways:
- Clicking on the SW button completely hides/unhide the sidebar with each click.
- Pressing on the small arrow will provide you with a list of similarweb-sites, this is similar to the list mode.

Add your own Similar Sites
You have the option to add a new similar website to SimilarWeb’s database by a simple click on the “add site” button
Rank the results
When conducting a search in popular search engines, SimilarWeb will automatically allow you to run the same search in other engines with a simple click of a button. This also works for videos, pictures and others. Try it and see for yourself.
