It’s hard to believe, but we’ve managed to make competitive analysis in SimilarWeb PRO easier and faster than ever before. Now thanks to our newly-launched ‘Quick Start’ feature, you can access a specific page to see one or more competitors in 3 simple steps. This innovative new feature is available for analyzing both websites and apps.
How to use the Quick Start Feature?
To use this new feature, visit your SimilarWeb PRO account and click on the ‘Quick Start’ button located next to the search box:
A window will open with an option to choose between websites or mobile apps. Make your selection, and then type in the competitor that you want to research. Then click ‘Next’.
After you’ve added one competitor, you can add up to 4 more. If you want to stick with just analyzing one, you can skip step 2 and move right along to step 3.
For this last step you have the option of viewing one metric. This way you can quickly get deep insights on the metrics that you want to focus your efforts on.
If you’re analyzing a website, you have a few options. You can choose to view a general traffic analysis overview. For deeper insights on a specific traffic metric, you can choose to view stats on referral, search, or display advertising traffic:
If you’re analyzing an app, you also have a few options. Choose among historic ranking and rating data (filtered by country, category and chart), app engagement overview, in-store referring keywords or external traffic sources directing traffic to the store.
Clicking on ‘Done’ will take you directly to your chosen analysis:
That’s it! With these 3 easy steps you’ll instantly access your biggest competitors and the metrics that matter most to you.
In the following couple of weeks we’ll be releasing another feature which will allow you to save your Quick Start selection to your Favorites. You’ll be able to click on the ‘Save’ button, which will instantly add the page to your Favorites tab, where you can add or remove pages as you see fit.
