So who are the big spenders and what are the search terms they&#8217;re fighting over?<\/p>\n<p>Feel free to scroll ahead to the most clicked keywords by industry &#8211; but first I\u2019m going to review the top spending businesses and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.similarweb.com\/blog\/marketing\/sem-ppc\/ppc-bidding\/\">keyword bidding<\/a> trends.<\/p>\n<h2>Top paid search spenders<\/h2>\n<p>The top three spending companies on paid search ads in the world are:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.similarweb.com\/website\/google.com\/\">Google.com<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.similarweb.com\/website\/amazon.com\/\">Amazon.com<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.similarweb.com\/website\/wayfair.com\/\">Wayfair.com<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>They are market leaders and all fall within the industries spending the most on PPC: electronics and\u00a0ecommerce. Depending on your campaign goals you may aim for both, but since clicks are more likely to mean profit, I\u2019m going to focus on the paid keywords driving the most clicks for three major industries.<\/p>\n<h3>Top paid arts and entertainment keywords<\/h3>\n<p>Entertainment giant, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.similarweb.com\/website\/disney.com\/\">disney.com<\/a>, made this list twice with \u201cdisney plus\u201d driving over 44 million clicks and \u201cdisney\u201d winning about 15 million clicks over the past year alone.
