The UBS study was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/technology\/chatgpt-sets-record-fastest-growing-user-base-analyst-note-2023-02-01\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">reported by Reuters<\/a> and widely quoted elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In 20 years following the internet space, we cannot recall a faster ramp in a consumer internet app,&#8221; UBS analysts wrote. They quoted Similarweb statistics showing that the AI-powered chat app averaged 13 million <a href=\"https:\/\/support.similarweb.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/360006849237-Daily-Unique-Visitors\">daily unique visitors<\/a> in January, more than double the level of January. If the trend of the last week continues, they will soon have to revise their estimates once again very soon.<\/p>\n<h2>Key takeaways<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.similarweb.com\/website\/chat.openai.com\/\">chat.openai.com<\/a> website attracted about 25 million daily visitors over the past week, according to Similarweb estimates.
