It\u2019s a metaphorical drumroll<\/p>\n<p>Because we\u2019re ecstatic to showcase our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.similarweb.com\/corp\/lps\/marketing-awards\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Similarweb Marketing Awards<\/a> winners of 2022!<\/p>\n<p>Made up of brands deftly carving out top spots for themselves amongst competitor giants, these winners have colored us inspired.<\/p>\n<h2>How were the 2023 Marketing Award winners chosen?<\/h2>\n<p>We studied the brands that, through smart digital marketing efforts, flew to distinct heights in 2022. Here\u2019s how:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pizza Hut partnered with a wildly popular anime series, <em>Blue Lock<\/em>, during the 2022 World Cup. It\u2019s legendary to see:<\/p>\n<p>Having reached max <a href=\"https:\/\/www.similarweb.com\/blog\/research\/audience-and-brand-building\/brand-awareness\/\">brand awareness<\/a> in its primary market (the US), Shein used its search learnings to expand in Brazil and impressed our judges:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Shein continued pumping money into ads well after traffic had risen significantly<\/strong>. (Why not rely solely on <a href=\"https:\/\/support.similarweb.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/4770707469201-Direct-Traffic\">direct traffic<\/a> at this point?
