It uses non-fungible tokens (NFTs), to represent these assets.<\/p>\n<p>OpenSea\u2019s astounding digital growth reflects the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2021\/3\/11\/22325054\/beeple-christies-nft-sale-cost-everydays-69-million\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">boom of NFTs<\/a> and the mainstream adoption of digital currency. Most significantly, it represents a new chapter of art history.<\/p>\n<p>In early March, Beeple, an artist whose real name is Mike Winkelmann, sold his piece \u201cEVERYDAYS: THE FIRST 5000 DAYS,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.christies.com\/en\/stories\/monumental-collage-by-beeple-is-first-purely-digital-artwork-nft-to-come-to-auction-0463a2c0f3174b17997fba8a1fe4c865\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">at Christie\u2019s<\/a> for $69 million. It was the first digital art sale for the prestigious auction house and it generated, the most money <b>ever recorded<\/b> for digital art.<\/p>\n<p>The groundbreaking transaction captured the attention of mainstream media for days, generating <a href=\"https:\/\/www.similarweb.com\/website\/opensea.io\/\">traffic to opensea.io<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The sale also signifies the future of the art market and a dramatic cultural shift that melds art with technology. Both brands bring a creative, fun, and unique spin to encourage a new habit.<\/li>\n<li><b>Health monitoring and optimization: <\/b>This includes brands such as <b>Done<\/b> (ADHD treatment), <b>Vessel<\/b> (urine testing), and <b>Levels<\/b> (glucose tracking) which aim to measure and enhance your body.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Why does this matter?<\/h3>\n<p>Trending self-care sites show that consumers are taking steps to take care of their bodies and health is top of mind.
