“Back To Now” is a mindfulness-reminder app that helps bring you back to the present moment. Version 2 includes custom quotes, custom images, notifications, a slideshow/screensaver feature, bulk importing and exporting of quotes, enhanced scheduling, and more. How It Works To use Back To Now, just (a) add your favorite quotes, (b) your favorite images, and then (c) set up a notification schedule. After that, Back To Now will send you random quotes as text reminders during the day, according to the schedule you configure. When the notifications appear on your iPhone, you can tap them, and that will bring you back into the app, showing the quote on top of one of your random images. If you have an Apple Watch, the notifications will also appear on your watch. Pinning Quotes You can also “pin” one or more quotes, so if you have 500 quotes but only want to see 5 during a day, just pin those quotes, and they’ll be the only ones you’ll see on your notifications. Slideshow/Screensaver Back To Now also has a slideshow/screensaver feature. Just select the Slideshow option, adjust the settings as desired, and then place your phone where you can see it, and it will randomly display your mindfulness quotes on top of your beautiful background images. A Few Important Notes 1. Back To Now works locally on your phone. It doesn’t access a network in any way, so all of your data is only stored on your phone. Your quotes and images are completely private for you. 2. Please don’t use Back To Now as any sort of timer. Because of the way notifications have to work (technical reasons), the app often resets its notification times, so the actual times you receive notifications can be unpredictable.
