Clue are you? is a quick and easy-to-use application designed to help children develop reading comprehension and inference skills. The child must use the clues found in the texts to discover mystery characters. Four difficulty levels are available: • Level 1: Sentences are simple and short. Clues are specific. • Level 2: Sentence structures are complex. Clues are specific. • Level 3: Sentence structures are complex. Simple inference skills are needed in order to understand the clues. • Level 4: Clues are presented in short texts containing distractors (misleading elements or incorrect options). Sentence structures are complex. Simple inferences need to be made in order to understand the clues. Sentences can be read by the child or through text-to-speech. The app is bilingual. You can work in English or French. Available on iPad.
