The Breast Cancer Surveillance Consortium (BCSC) Advanced Breast Cancer Risk Calculator is an interactive tool designed by BCSC scientists using data collected on U.S. women undergoing routine screening mammography to estimate six-year cumulative risk of developing advanced breast cancer based on annual (every year) mammography or biennial (every two years) mammography. Advanced breast cancer is defined as prognostic pathologic stage II or higher. IMPORTANT NOTICE: The BCSC Advanced Breast Cancer Risk Calculator was designed for use by health professionals. If you are not a health professional, you are required to discuss the results and your personal risk of advanced breast cancer with your health care provider before making any medical decision.
