FlipMob helps everyday people and even businesses easily connect, communicate and combine their money to increase their buying power. Members can create flip mobs around almost anything imaginable from for-profit opportunities to events to savings opportunities - or even flip mobs just for fun. The FlipMob Platform is based around an interactive Listing Engine that allows Members to escrow money, set goals, make pledges and utilize a ton of other features. It's sort of like combining crowd-funding with member/professional networking and a social network. - - - - - - - - - - - - - Note: The FlipMob App uses background GPS Location services to help users receive location-specific Flipmobs, Jobs, Project/Seller Listings, Announcements, Messages, Notifications and Alerts - as well as automatically check-in to Events, Jobs, find Events (or Jobs) in real-time, know when close connections have arrived, etc. For example, if users are near a particular Event, Job or Conference, then you may receive a specific message about that location - like information about the Venue or a closing early announcement. In addition, this also helps stay in communication with users who may be at a particular event like a festival or concert. Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
