Linkdy vs Linkding Web Extension Usage & Stats
Linkdy is a client for Linkding, a bookmark manager. Linkding is a self-hosted service that allows you to store links as bookmarks on your own home server. Linkdy allows you to access that bookmarks from the ease of your mobile phone, presenting it on a beautiful and functional interface.
!!WARNING!!
Linkdy doesn't work as an standalone app. It requires a Linkding server. In order to use this application, first you need to set up Linkding on your home server, VPS, or any other computer. This is a simple safari extension for Linkding, a self-hosted bookmark manager service. You can find it at https://github.com/sissbruecker/linkding.
This extension simply opens Linkding page with your URL pre-populated. It also provides an Options page where you can customize your linkding server address.
The first time you use the extension, it will open the Options page where you can configure the host name. If you need to update the host address, follow these steps:
1. Go to iOS's Settings
2. Go to Safari
3. Go to Extensions
4. Click on Linkding in the list
5. Switch on Linkding (this will enable the extension and allow you to continue to step 6)
6. Click on Settings
