How It Works When you open a controlled app, Unrot shows a calm pause shield with a countdown timer. This brief delay breaks the autopilot habit loop and gives your brain a chance to decide — do you really want to open this right now? Key Features Pause Shield — Configurable delay (5–60 seconds) before you can open distracting apps. Enough friction to break the habit, not enough to frustrate you. Session Timer — Set how long you're allowed to use each app per session. When time's up, the shield returns. Focus Time — Schedule distraction-free hours. During focus mode, controlled apps are completely blocked. Math Challenge — Optionally require solving a math problem to open an app. Great for extra friction when you need it.
