The Breitbandmessung app is provided by zafaco GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Network Agency. The Breitbandmessung app enables you to measure your locally available data transmission rate and to capture dead zones of your cellular network. The App is provided ad-less and free-of-charge. Data transmission rate measurement The Breitbandmessung app enables you to quickly measure your locally available data transmission rate on your mobile device. The measurement is performed independently from provider or technology. All measurement results can be saved location- and time-bound on your mobile device. Capturing dead zones The Breitbandmessung app enables you to capture the current network availability and possible dead zones of your cellular network. The individually captured network availabilities (No Net, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G) are saved on your mobile device and visualized an a map. Additionally, the measurements will be transmitted to Breitbandmessung and, in an aggregated form, utilized for an overall view.
