With gameplay similar to a popular magic war legends strategy game, it is up to you to strategically lead your heroes into battle and vanquish your enemies. As the leader of your kingdom, it is your duty to recruit and train a powerful army of heroes, each with unique abilities and strengths, to defend against the relentless forces of darkness that threaten the land of Avernum.
As you progress through the game, you'll have the opportunity to expand your kingdom and unlock new powerful spells and abilities. But be warned, your enemies will also grow stronger and more dangerous. It will take all of your strategic thinking and quick decision-making to defeat them and keep your kingdom safe.
The key to victory is to master the art of magic and strategically upgrade your heroes, giving them new weapons, armour and abilities to make them even more powerful. Your heroes will be your most valuable asset, each with their own backstory and personality, you will come to care for them as they fight bravely on your behalf. But remember, in this world of powerful magic and scary monsters, not every hero will survive every battle. So choose wisely, and lead your heroes to victory.
