X-ING is an automated travel survey that is used by transportation and urban planning agencies to understand human mobility patterns and to enable them to make better informed decisions to improve the transportation systems and networks that you use every day. Your participation helps ensure that your mobility needs are represented. You’ll see a detailed daily travel and activity timeline that you can edit and a summary of your mobility and activity patterns. All collected information is used for research and planning purposes only. We have developed our app to minimize battery consumption, but please keep in mind that continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life more than usual.
