Sentral’s approach is to focus on tasks that Teachers frequently perform on the Sentral platform, tasks that can be actioned ‘in the moment’ on a mobile device without compromising useability, simplicity, and efficiency. These tasks are called 'mobile moments’ and include activities such as taking attendance and checking your schedule. It is important to note that not all tasks that can be performed on the Sentral platform can be considered as mobile moments. More complex tasks such as writing reports or creating lesson plans require more detail and consideration and are best suited to performing on the platform. Tasks of this nature are not managed by the mobile app.
