WoLMagic allows you to remotely wake up a computer or iot device by sending a broadcast packet sometimes called a Magic Packet. After the packets are sent, if you provided the IP it will ping the device so you can see when the device is active. to send the wake up message, you must provide the MAC address of the device you want to wake up. The device also MUST support Wake on Lan, sometimes you also have to configure is settings and/or BIOS of the device. The device will also do ICMP pings.
