Stay tuned. 🌴 October 15, 2025 -- STRANDED ISLE RELEASES!🌴 New update 833 contains STRANDED ISLE and lots of new crafting recipes and more! -- NOTE ABOUT CLASSIC OLDER 319 UPDATE -- The old 2018 version codebase was in such state that it became impossible to add new features and eventually this version would have been removed from stores due incompatible android. The whole game codebase was redone (twice) and the new version now is the only one available. This lead to choices that were either "old version is lost forever" or "new version replaces it" and the "new version replaces" was the choice. Some of the classic features have been fixed in update 680 and please do keep giving feedback. There's been requests for a "classic" version within Survive so emailing smokesignal@thesurvivegame.com with subject line "CLASSIC" can impact development plans. If you have internet connection, then game will try send anonymized data about gameplay (things like "X number of people play game"). Please check out "for humans" privacy policy at thesurvivegame.com - Game never requires creating email account or giving your name or other information. --- PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED --- * IN-APP PURCHASES (IAP): You can buy full version, style pack and such. There are no "gems" or "ads" type of stuff. * FULL NETWORK ACCESS: you can play offline, but if you play online game sends error/exception information about crashes. This helps fixing problems. * VIEW NETWORK CONNECTIONS: To best of my understanding this checks if your device is online or offline. * CONTROL VIBRATION: this can be toggled off in the settings. It's used only for in-game events (like if you catch a fish or something like that) * OTHER WORTH MENTIONING: game stores "save game" files to your device so that you can save & continue game after playing. Should not require extra permissions though. Game does not read your phone files. It only reads game files and via settings screen you can see list of files that were created. * RUN AT STARTUP: This is some unnecessary permission that we hope to remove (sorry for time being).
