The e² series With the new heat exchanger the e²60 from the e² series is one of the smallest, lightest and most sustainable decentralised fans with heat recovery in home ventilation in the single-channel device class worldwide. Special features The e²60 is pressure-optimised, making it the first axial fan to ensure a constant volume flow even in areas with very high back pressures, such as on the coast or at high altitudes. An optional, intelligent control system ensures that the occurring back pressures are compensated for up to 20 Pa on request and that the air flow remains unaffected up to 40 m³/h. This fan therefore fulfils the new requirements for wind pressure stability in accordance with EN 13141-8 and is the first device of its type to achieve class S1. The e²60 also has a sound pressure level of 18 dB(A), which makes it even quieter than the e². With a standard sound level difference of up to 67 dB, it achieves best values in terms of sound insulation. You can find all sound insulation values in the e²60 sound insulation catalogue. Installation The e²60 can be used in any e² environment, as the same outer grilles and outer hoods, as well as inner screens and controls can be used. Quick retrofitting is possible at any time. Approval The e²60 has received building authority approval from DIBt on 24 September 2021. In addition, the e²60 FR with pipe, which is used in the USA and Canada, for example, has received its approval, which is granted on the North American continent according to even stricter rules (e.g. for more fire-resistant material).
