Exploring Delicious Iced Tea Iced tea is a refreshing and popular beverage enjoyed by people around the world. It can be made using different types of tea, including black tea, green tea, and fruit tea etc. In this blog, we will explore the methods of making iced tea using both hot and cold techniques for each type of tea. Black Tea (and Puerh): Black tea is known for its rich and robust flavour. To make iced tea with black tea using the hot method, start by boiling water. Once the water reaches a rolling boil, remove it from heat and add 1 tsp per cup of black tea leaves. Let the tea steep for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavours to infuse. Then, remove the tea leaves and let the brewed tea cool to room temperature. Once cooled, pour the tea over a glass filled with ice and garnish with honey, lemon or a sprig of mint. Stir well and enjoy! (It’s best not to store this iced tea using the hot method in the fridge as the tea will become cloudy.) Delicious when served immediately over ice.  For the cold method, place 1 tsp per cup of black tea leaves in a pitcher or container. Add cold water and refrigerate for several hours or overnight. The longer the tea infuses, the stronger the flavour. Once ready, strain the tea to remove the leaves, pour over ice, and garnish as desired. This cold method offers a smoother and less bitter taste.
