Hisab Expert is a business management app built for Indian shop
owners. It is designed for kirana stores, medical shops, general
stores, and retail businesses that need a reliable and complete
way to manage their daily operations, track finances, maintain
inventory, and handle customer credit all in one place.
Recording income and expenses is straightforward. Every entry
takes a few seconds and the app immediately updates your net
profit. You can view your financial position broken down by
day, week, or month with a comparison against the previous
period so you can see how your business is performing over
time. Transactions can be filtered by type, whether cash or
UPI, and your complete records can be exported as a PDF or
CSV file and shared at any time.
The voice entry feature allows you to record transactions by
speaking naturally in Hindi or English. You can say the amount,
the direction of the payment, and any relevant details, and the
app creates the entry for you. This is particularly useful
during busy hours when stopping to type is not practical. The
feature supports both single entries and multiple entries in
one session, so you can record a series of transactions without
interruption.
Hisab Expert can detect incoming UPI payment notifications from
Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Amazon Pay, WhatsApp Pay,
BharatPe, SBI YONO, and Kotak 811 and record them as income
entries automatically. This feature is turned off by default
and requires you to grant Notification Access manually through
Android system settings. It reads only the payment amount from
these specific apps. It does not interact with your SMS
messages, contacts, banking details, or any other application
on your phone. The feature can be turned off at any time
directly from the app settings.
The inventory section allows you to maintain a complete product
list with names, prices, and stock quantities. When recording
a sale, you can link the products that were sold and the app
deducts the quantities from your stock automatically. The total
value of your current inventory is always visible. You receive
an alert when any product is running low and a separate
notification when a product goes completely out of stock, so
you are never caught off guard.
The Khata Book is a customer credit ledger built into the app.
You can add customers, record what was delivered on credit and
what payments were received, and the app maintains the running
balance for each customer. Overdue accounts are clearly
highlighted so you can see at a glance who needs to settle
their dues. You can send a payment reminder to any customer
via WhatsApp directly from their account screen.
You can add staff members to the app so they can record
transactions on your behalf from the same device. Employee
access is restricted. They can add income and expense entries
but they cannot view your profit reports, delete any records,
access UPI detection, use voice entry, or change any settings.
Every action an employee takes is recorded and visible to you
as the owner. You stay in complete control of your business
data at all times.
Your data is stored on your device and protected with
AES-256 encryption. The encryption key is held in the Android
hardware-backed Keystore. The app supports a four-digit PIN
lock and biometric authentication that activates automatically
when you leave the app. If you use multiple devices or want
a backup of your data, cloud sync is available as an optional
feature that you can enable from settings.
The app supports Hindi, English, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi,
Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Punjabi. You can switch
languages at any time from the settings screen.
