Sharpen your strategy, outplay your opponents, and become the Whot! champion. ● Rules Whot! is a fast-paced shedding card game where the goal is to be the first player to get rid of all your cards. In counting mode, points may be calculated based on cards left in opponents’ hands. Setup - Each player is dealt a set number of cards (commonly 6). - The remaining cards form the draw pile, and one card is placed face-up to start the discard pile. Gameplay - Players take turns playing one card onto the discard pile. - A card can be played if it matches the shape, number, or is a Whot (20) card, which acts as a wildcard. - If a player cannot play, they must draw from the deck. Special Cards Certain cards have effects: - 1 (Hold On): Next player misses a turn. - 2 (Pick Two): Next player draws two cards (can be defended). - 5 (Pick Three): Next player draws three cards (can be defended). - 8 (Suspension): Next player misses a turn. - 14 (General Market): All players draw one card (cannot be defended). - 20 (Whot): Can be played at any time and allows the player to request a shape. Last Card Rule When a player is down to one card, they must announce: “Last card!”. Failing to do so may result in a penalty. However, in Whot! AI, the announcement is handled automatically by the game engine. Winning the Game - The round ends when a player plays their final card. There are additional optional features in Whot!
