SouTec é um aplicativo gratuito que ajuda jovens a escolher a carreira técnica mais compatível com seu perfil de interesses. O estudante responde a um questionário sobre preferências de atividades de trabalho — podendo pausar e retomar quando quiser — e, ao finalizar, recebe um resumo e um relatório explicando seu perfil profissional. Em seguida, o app cruza automaticamente esse resultado com as características dos 215 cursos do Catálogo Nacional de Cursos Técnicos (CNCT), recomendando as opções mais adequadas.
A busca pode ser personalizada por localização, considerando a distância de onde o estudante mora, e é possível favoritar cursos e instituições. A solução foi desenvolvida por especialistas em computação aplicada à educação do NEES/UFAL, a partir de demanda da Setec/MEC, que identificou a necessidade de ampliar o acesso às informações sobre cursos profissionalizantes da rede federal. O aplicativo também apoia profissionais em reposicionamento de carreira, estimulando a aprendizagem ao longo da vida.
Novidade da versão 2: consolidamos dados do Censo INEP e indicadores de empregabilidade, oferecendo informações mais completas e atualizadas sobre oferta de cursos e inserção no mercado de trabalho.
