Welcome to Lew! Lew was designed to help with dementia loved ones and their caregivers. We designed Lew with three aspects: the loved one (the person with dementia, or that needs a bit of help), the caregiver, and friends and family. THE LOVED ONE · Daily Checklist- Fully customizable. Your loved one will get a notification when it’s time to do the task, and you will get a notification when the task has been completed. · Daily Calendar – Your loved one will see what is coming for the day and how much time before each event happens. · Pictures of People and Places – You can add people, places, and explanations of each so your loved one gently stays aware of the places and people they know. · Messages – Your loved one can get messages on the app from friends and family. They can read them as many times as they’d like. THE CAREGIVER · Forum – Sometimes it can feel isolating caring for someone with dementia. We have a forum to stay connected with people going through the same as you. · Resources – Dementia is a fulltime job. We provide some resources for you from self-care to wills and in care facilities. FRIENDS AND FAMILY · Messages – Send messages directly to loved ones you know that are suffering with dementia. It means so much to them to know people care. There are no ads. We didn’t want anyone to get “lost” on anything else. There is a monthly subscription to keep the ads out and to pay for push notifications, messaging, marketing, and future updates. More features will be added as we get Lew off the ground.
