Founded in 2002 by independent storage operators, the CSSA has grown rapidly, serving over 500 storage owners, operators, vendors, and thousands of storage facilities. We are governed by an elected Board of Directors comprised of self-storage professionals who meets regularly. In addition, over 200 volunteers participate on seven committees that serves the members in many ways including: Legislative Initiatives and Advocacy Education Courses World-Class Industry Events; Annual Owners Summit held in Newport Beach, CA and the CSSA Napa Self Storage Owners Conference held in Napa, CA.
