Litourgia is a free application that uses the Orthodox various service books to automatically compose the daily prayers, including vespers, matins and the Holy Liturgy, according to the Typikon of the Antiochian Orthodox Church. The current version is in Arabic and follows the New Julian Calendar adopted in all Antiochian Churches; it addresses ecclesiastics, chanters or the ordinary faithful (choice pre-selectable from the settings menu). Through a rich and continuously updated database, Litourgia also gives the Icon of daily Saints and Feasts, various daily prayers and readings. It also offers a search engine connected to the archive of the Beirut Archbishopric’s weekly publication “Annashra” and its web site. This application was developed by the Orthodox Archbishopric of Beirut for the benefit of the Church children.
