The Culture Map ‘Personal Bundle’ consists of the following 2 tools: A Personal Profile (in the form of a short questionnaire) that allows you to find out how your own style of giving feedback, establishing trust, making decisions and communicate compares to others from your culture The ‘Culture Map’ Country Mapping Tool that allows you to click on whichever countries you are working with and receive a cultural mapping of the selected cultures and then compare it to you own Personal Profile. Even seasoned, cosmopolitan managers often have oversimplified ideas about how people from other cultures operate. That's because they tend to zero in on just one or two elements-communication, for example, or decision making. But culture is more complex than that. To get an accurate picture, you need to gauge cognitive, relational, and behavioral differences along the eight dimensions where cultural gaps are most common-and to assess yourself in those areas. The Culture Map was developed by Erin Meyer a professor at INSEAD and an expert in cross-cultural management. She is the author of The Culture Map: Breaking Through the Invisible Boundaries of Global Business (PublicAffairs, 2014). In order to find out how your own style of giving feedback, establishing trust, and making decisions (just to get started) compares to others from your culture complete this short assessment and receive your personal profile. Results are immediate and can be saved and printed if you wish to do so. A brief explanation of all 8 dimensions is also given at the end of the results page so that you can make sense of your results.  On the results page, you can then see how your culture compares to that of other countries by selecting from a list of over 50 countries.
