Our long-standing partnership with the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad includes annual hands-on inspections, in-depth assessments of both highway and railroad components, and the development of repair recommendations to maintain the bridge’s safety and functionality. These inspections employ advanced techniques such as technical rope access and ultrasonic testing. The Huey P. Long Bridge is a testament to enduring engineering, with a main span of 3,524 feet and a total length of approximately 23,000 feet. Our work on the Huey P. Long Bridge exemplifies our niche expertise in large-span river crossings and complex structural evaluations. As we mark 90 years of continuous inspection and engineering service, we remain dedicated to preserving this iconic structure for future generations, upholding a tradition of trust, technical leadership, and partnership with the communities we serve.
