นิทรรศการภาพถ่ายในไลท์บ็อกซ์ 365° - Unboxing 365º Fulfilling its mission of delivering high quality Thai and international art and culture to Thailand, today River City Bangkok opened to the media ‘365º’, a spectacular exhibition by internationally acclaimed Spanish fashion photographer, Eugenio Recuenco. The exhibition of 365 back-lit photographs filling the 1,200-square-metre RCB Galleria on the 2nd floor of the art and antique centre opens to the public on 1 June and runs until 17 October this year. At a time where we are not free to roam the world, 365º explores the influences on us all over recent history. In 365º, Recuenco deploys his innate fashion aesthetics and photographic technique to reflect upon remarkable moments in history: art, current affairs, politics, natural and manmade disasters, mankind’s achievements and more. Events such as the 9/11 attack on New York’s World Trade Centre, moments in the life of the United Kingdom’s Queen Elizabeth II, and the international release of the seminal movie, Star Wars. He looks back at the creative works of some of the world’s most loved artists: Banksy, Edward Hopper, Salvador DalÍ, René Magritte, Mondrian and Van Gogh. The exhibition is a result of eight years work with more than 300 people: stylists, set designers, models, lighting and special effects technicians. 365º has been shown in Barcelona, Madrid, London, Valencia, Shanghai, Taipei, and Bangkok in June. Speaking about 365º, Linda Cheng, Managing Director of River City Bangkok said “our international exhibitions are programmed years in advance.
