The new version is more powerful with the following new features, such as: - photos of water fountains; - water temperature, such as hot, cold or room temperature; - pathfinding; - in-app reporting, updating, suggesting new water fountain location; - easy sharing of water fountain information with friends.

“GREEN$ Mobile App” is a mobile app developed by the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Its primary function is to facilitate the public to participate the GREEN$ Electronic Participation Incentive Scheme (ePIS) using smartphone. Members of the GREEN$ ePIS will earn GREEN$ for redemption of gift items when submitting recyclables at Recycling Stations, Recycling Stores and Recycling Spots for clean recycling.
