Set your forfeit Set the task/habit that you want to complete, when you want to complete it by, and how much you'll lose if you don't complete it. 2. Submit your evidence Verify that you completed your habit using any of the methods defined below. This can be in the form of a photo, timelapse, self-verify, friend verify, GPS check-in, a web tracking limit, a Strava run, a Whoop activity, a MyFitnessPal meal or anything else. 3. Or you lose money If you don't send evidence in time, you lose money. This rarely happens - only 6% of forfeits fail. If you do fail, you can appeal the failed forfeit - we only want you to fail if it's a willpower issue, not if life gets in the way! WHY WE REQUEST HEALTH CONNECT PERMISSIONS • Heart‑rate (read/write) – Verifies cardio goals (e.g., 20 min ≥ 60 % HRmax) and can log the workout back to Health Connect. • Steps & Distance (read/write) – Confirms step or distance goals such as 10 000 steps or a 5 km run. • Active Calories (read/write) – Checks daily burn targets (e.g., 400 kcal). • Exercise Sessions (read/write) – Auto‑completes goals based on “Run”, “Cycling”, etc. • Sleep (read/write) – Verifies sleep‑duration goals (e.g., ≥ 7 h). • Hydration (read/write) – Confirms water‑intake goals and logs the amount. • Weight (read/write) – Reads and logs weight entries for weight‑tracking goals. • Floors Climbed (read/write) – Verifies stair‑climbing goals (e.g., 20 floors/day). • Activity Recognition – Detects motion state to trigger reminders and reduce battery use. WHY WE REQUEST ACCESSIBILITY PERMISSIONS Overlord uses Android AccessibilityService to detect the foreground app and block apps you select during goals. We don’t read text, taps, or screen content—only the package name. Optional & user-started: runs only after you enable + grant permission; disable anytime. No Accessibility data is stored or shared. We access only the data you enable, never use it for ads, and you can revoke permission at any time in Android settings.
