A priority matrix determines which tasks are more important than others. This uses a matrix to decide their priority, by ordering the tasks into different categories. To prioritize your task items, you must categorize each task on your list into one of these four categories. ✔ Urgent and important. ✔ Important, but not urgent. ✔ Urgent, but not important. ✔ Not urgent and not important. Important and urgent tasks are given top priority. There will be negative effects if things are not done right away. The rest of your time will be spent on important but not urgent tasks. To avoid unbalanced schedules and workloads, don't put them off till the last minute. Tasks that are urgent but not important can be assigned to your group. They don't have to be done by you. Finally, you can check off tasks that are not important and not urgent.
