After two and a half long years of being unable to travel outside of New Zealand, what better way to take the plunge than flying half way around the world to perform the Prokofiev Symphony Concertante! The concerts were postponed 3 times, but this time we made it. I never thought I'd say it about this piece, but the journey was harder than arriving at the destination. :)Of course, the best part was being reunited with my mother!
