照片 人間社記者張志誠拍攝 & 洛杉磯協會提供 洛杉磯佛光人佳節送愛 警民攜手護童心 2025.12.20 【人間社 心禹、真裕 美國洛杉磯報導】國際佛光會洛杉磯協會舉辦「歡喜施予·分享愛心」玩具捐贈活動，自11月15日至12月13日歷時近一個月，凝聚佛光人與信眾的共同發心，募集玩具共65 箱。其中佛光人、信眾捐贈14大箱，並獲 LA Double 7, Inc. 創辦人周冰慷慨捐出51箱，展現社區彼此扶持、共享溫暖的力量。 12月16日上午，佛光山西來寺住持慧東法師率領社教本土組慧澤法師、慧澄法師，以及國際佛光會洛杉磯協會會長蔡月琴、活動總幹事許珍蓉等11位佛光人，前往加州公路巡警聖塔菲泉分局致贈玩具。分局長 Melissa Hammond 對西來寺與佛光會多年來持續關懷社區、投入公益表達感謝。慧東法師表示，此次活動是眾緣和合的集體成就，長期與社區單位攜手合作，令人心生感恩。 12月20日，慧澄法師與蔡月琴會長再度帶領佛光人，參與加州高速公路巡警聖塔菲泉分局連續第4年舉辦的佳節送玩具活動。當天由摩托車警隊開道，加州第30選區州參議員Bob Archuleta與聖誕老人乘坐紅色敞篷車進場，現場歡呼聲不斷，洋溢節慶氣氛。 活動中，孩子們領取玩具、參與遊戲、與聖誕老人合影，並享用餐點與零食，在歲末年終感受溫馨與歡喜。主辦單位表示，西來寺與佛光會此次捐贈約 2,000件玩具，讓前來的家庭與孩童感受到來自社區的關懷。分局指出，玩具將分送給學區推薦的低收入家庭兒童，作為回饋社區的一份心意。當日共有約 1,500名兒童受惠，為佳節增添一份真誠而踏實的溫暖。
