Ganz neu ist die Idee nicht, aber neu gedacht: Gemeinsam mit der Agentur paripari, dem bioladen*-Erzeuger CampoJoyma sowie einem Verpackungslieferanten entwickelte der bioladen*-Markeninhaber Weiling über zwei Jahre an der neuen Verpackung für Obst und Gemüse. „Wir sind in letzten Jahren immer wieder auf Lösungen gestoßen, bei denen wir bei genauerem Hinsehen doch auf nicht akzeptable Punkte gestoßen sind“, so Sascha Hinkes, Einkaufsleiter für Obst und Gemüse bei Weiling. Durch die Neugestaltung spart bioladen* zukünftig gegenüber der alten Verpackung aus Plastik 31 % CO2 ein. Damit kommt der Großhändler auch seinem Ziel einen Schritt näher: „99 % plastikfreie Endverbraucher-verpackung für bioladen*-Obst und -Gemüse“.
