The event will begin with an opening address and a keynote from Hayley Munro, Defence Relationship Manager, who will provide an overview of the Armed Forces Covenant and the Employer Recognition Scheme, outlining what participation means for employers and the benefits of getting involved. Attendees will also hear first-hand insights from a service leaver on transitioning to civilian life, alongside contributions from guest speakers sharing their experiences and perspectives. The afternoon will conclude with a discussion on the value of supporting serving personnel, reservists, veterans and their families, before an opportunity to network over a finger buffet. This event is ideal for employers who want to better understand the ERS, learn how they can play a meaningful role in supporting Defence, and connect with other businesses committed to making a positive impact.
