These motorized mirror mounts are designed to support extra-large, heavy mirrors and feature a motorized mechanism for remote-controlled tilt adjustment-ideal for high-precision optical alignments. The mirror is axially clamped at three locations equally spaced around the perimeter to minimize wavefront distortion and accommodate mirrors of varying thicknesses. A coarse adjustment mechanism on the pitch axis allows manual positioning at any angle within a full 360-degree range before using the precision stepper motor actuators. The stepper motor actuators also are equiped wtih knobs to allow fine manual adjustment when they are not powered. The mount is compatible with both metric and inch-standard mirrors of similar sizes and can be easily switched using the included pin. For example, the MHDM-300 model can hold both a 300-mm diameter mirror or a 12-inch (304.8 mm) mirror. Note: Two D15D15A cables (model D15D15A-CA-3) are required for connection to the controller and must be purchased separately. Custom-sized automatic mirror mounts are also available upon request.
