Huitième étape de l’Échappée Jurassienne. Cette étape emblématique commence en beauté. Du fond de la reculée de Blois-sur-Seille, vous remonterez sur le plateau pour rejoindre le petit village de Granges-sur-Baume, qui domine la plus belle reculée du Jura. Depuis le Belvédère de Granges-sur-Baume, vous aurez une vue plongeante sur la reculée de Baume-les-Messieurs et après une bonne descentre, vous arrivez dans l’un des « Plus Beaux Villages de France ».Dominé par de vertigineuses falaises, Baume-les-Messieurs, qui abrite une abbaye clunisienne du IXe siècle, se niche au milieu de trois reculées typiques du paysage jurassien.En remontant la rivière du Dard, vous découvrirez l’une des plus belles cascades du Jura, la cascade de tuf de Baume-les-Messieurs, et, un peu plus loin, les spectaculaires Grottes de Baume.Après une nouvelle ascension sur le plateau par les échelles de Crançot et une traversée de la forêt de Perrigny, vous terminerez cette étape non loin de Lons-le-Saunier.
