This muffler has 5/16" thick flanges, it's mandrel bent, and MIG Welded from 16ga 1 1/2" mild steel tubing to a 4" formed internally baffled muffler body, on a jig to ensure fitment with NO LEAKS for optimum quality and performance! This muffler is designed to work with stock heater boxes, or replacement J-pipes. This muffler has just been re-designed with wider #2 and #4 Primary Tubes for Heater Hose Clearance (no more burned hoses!), and to fit aftermarket and stock rear aprons on stock or lowered cars! If you get the "Black/Raw" version of this, know that the paint will burn off in under an hour of run time. The ceramic version will keep it's good looks longer.
