A gorgeous large French mid-century teachers school desk by Mullca which can from a technology school in Strasbourg. The desk has a metal tubular frame with a solid wood and veneer top. The desk has three side drawers, a central top drawer and a side cupboard with shelf all with original locks and one key which locks the top side drawer, there are no keys for the other locks. The drawer and cupboard units are made of solid wood and veneer and the drawers have dove tailed joints. The desk is in overall good original condition. There are some age related marks and imperfections but nothing significant. The drawers and cupboard are very clean but as is common with these desks there are marks and ink stains to the drawers. The metal frame has the original blue/green paint which is beautifully worn and the paint has completely come off in places. A really stunning piece!
