Internationally known, award-winning quilt artist, Carol Taylor, approaches her quilt making with intensity and a seemingly boundless energy despite having a full-time job. Vibrant colors, striking contrasts, and values, as well as heavy machine quilting and embroidery distinguish Carol�s quilts. She has created over 280 quilts since she began quilting in 1993. Recently, jurors for the international exhibit, Quilt National, selected Carol�s quilt, Vibrations, for the 2001 edition of this �best of contemporary quilts� showcase. Quilt National 1999 also featured Carol�s quilt, Shattered, which traveled with the show for two years.
