METHIOVET DL-Methionine 500mg URINARY ACIDIFIER INDICATION: It is a urinary acidifier that assists in the treatment of cystitis and alkaline susceptible urinary calculi in dogs and cats. It also aids in the prevention of fatty liver in dogs. FORMULATION Each tablet contains: DL-Methionine ----- 500 mg DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION Tablets may be given whole as-is or crushed and mixed with foods. Cats: 1 – 1.5 mg/head Dogs: 150 – 300 mg/Kg body weight Lipotropic: Dogs: 25 mg/Kg body weight Cats: 100 – 400 mg/head Note: The total dose can be given once a day or the total dose can be given in a divided dose of twice or thrice a day.
