Stratagraph, a leader in geological services to the oil and gas industry for over 60 years, announces the acquisition of the south Texas logging company Gisler Brothers Logging (GBL). The purchase adds over two dozen mudlogging units with industry-leading Flame Ionization Detection (FID) gas detection systems to the company's fleet. The acquisition continues to reinforce Stratagraph's strong commitment to the oilfield service sector in both South and West Texas. The addition of Gisler Brothers Logging will expand Stratagraph's capacity to meet growing client needs while widening the regional footprint of the overall enterprise. This new segment of mudlogging business complements the existing list of services provided by Stratagraph, including wellsite and lab geological services, geosteering, geochemistry, production/completion chemicals, wellbore placement, and unmanned gas detection.
