The SOS Alarm 112 app provides safety and reassurance to everyone living in or visiting Sweden. With the app, you get: • Real-time information about incidents nearby: fires, traffic accidents, explosions, boat accidents, and people in distress in water. • Important public announcements (VMA) and other crisis-related updates. • Preventive knowledge about safety and security, such as CPR and essential phone numbers. • Guidance to help you call the right phone number when you need help. To fully use all the app’s features, you need to: • Allow notifications. • Allow location access and consent to the app collecting location data in the background, even when the app is closed or not in use, so it can provide relevant information about nearby incidents.
