Use Chip Trading to illustrate regrouping by dragging and dropping chips from one column to another. Chip Trading Multi-colored chips are used to represent numbers. Four types of chips are used Thousands, Hundreds, Tens and Ones. Using Hands-On Math Chip Trading students enter the answer to the problem by moving chips in to columns. If an error occurs, specific feedback about the error is given.
