Our app “Your Money's Worth” is designed to be used without external dependencies to banks or any other entity, all the information is stored locally in your device, and cannot be accessed by any third party. First thing you need to do is capture how much you have and how much you owe. Assets and liabilities come in different types. Your cash and debit accounts are current assets. Your house, your car and your computer are fixed assets. On the other hand, your credit card is called a short term loan and your mortgage is called a long term loan. You can see them in comparison one to another in the home widgets. In our app you can manually register any bank account, any asset, and any liability using several currencies. When you add them up altogether you get what is called your net worth. Then you need to register your income and expenses regularly. This is key to get the most out of the app. Each income or expense can be associated with a payee and a category which allows you to group them together. Additionally, you can set a transaction as recurrent, define frequency, duration, and notifications so the app reminds you accordingly. As you register information, the widgets in the home screen will let you see the outcome of your financial behavior of the current and last two months, grouped by categories. You can check your financial status at a glance using the financial summary widget at the top of the home screen. Earnie will change its mood according to your financial habits.
