The Course This course is perfect for any diver who wants to take their training to the next level by trying new skills while honing those skills that they learned in the Open Water Scuba Course. This course consists of five modules.  The modules that we complete at Undersea Divers are Deep Diving, Underwater Navigation, Night Diving, Peak Performance Buoyancy and Underwater Naturalist. This class is one of the most fun and challenging courses offered by PADI! Instruction Diving is best learned in the water and not through hours of lecture in the classroom. We at Undersea Diving recognize this and have designed this course to maximize the amount of time in the water. The instructors will serve as your guide throughout your course. They will be able to answer questions and help organize and lead the dives. After you pick up your AOW kit you will have to do some self study. You need to read the five chapters in the manual that pertain to the dives you will do. At the end of each chapter there is a knowledge review which needs to be completed before class. You will participate in the five adventure dives, usually two on a Saturday and two on Sunday and one during the week after work. (individually tailored courses are available). Prerequisites Must hold a Junior Open Water Diver certification or higher with a minimum age of 12 years old. Must have RECENT cold water diving experience.
