JNA PC-99 Paratrooper Helmet – Yugoslav Cold War Surplus Issued to Yugoslav airborne troops, the PC-99 is a rarely seen piece of Cold War kit. With its low-profile composite-style shell and distinctive liner system, this helmet gave paratroopers protection without the excess bulk of earlier designs. Unlike the clunky steel pots of the era, the PC-99 was ahead of its time—featuring a  fiberglass lightweight composite shell. Most include the leather chin cup and webbing harness. Perfect for display, restoration, or even jumping out of a plane if you’re feeling particularly bold. Now available in two emblem variants: Red Star – Classic socialist-era airborne issue. JNA Officer Crest – Yugoslav offcicer insignia less common. Two condition grades to choose from: Issued – Good Condition:  Shows normal service wear, some do have small chips. Issued – Serviceable: Structurally sound, may have small sections of fiberglass edge wear/erosion from age, still perfectly wearable (see pics for the worst of the lot).
