Within a region whose material culture is largely defined by impermanent objects, the sacred cave of Kamukuwaká provides a vital insight into ancient Xinguan cosmogonic and ethno-historic cartography. Following a project with People's Palace Project, a replica of the cave, made by Factum Foundation, was created and installed at the Cultural and Territorial Monitoring Center in Ulupuwene village, Upper Xingu.
