Additionally, the current Reserve Tasting Room, located at the south end of the building, and the adjacent club lounge will remain open during the renovation. The Historic Evolution of Beaulieu Vineyard Beaulieu Vineyard has always held a leadership position in Rutherford and Napa Valley providing noteworthy contributions to the American wine industry, steadfast community involvement, and a solid commitment to caring for the land. When our founders Georges de Latour and his wife Fernande first laid eyes on their original Rutherford vineyard (still farmed by BV today), she exclaimed, “Quel beau lieu,” or “What a beautiful place.” Our historic winery, constructed in the 1880s with elegant stone structures and distinguished twin gabled roofs, was purchased by the de Latours in 1923.
